George E. “Sandy” Sanford, 81, was born in Buffalo, New York on May 17, 1943 to George Eliot and Elizabeth Catherine (Holmes) Sandford.

He passed away on October 29, 2024 in West Melbourne, Florida.

Sandy was a retired Master Sergeant United States Army.

He is survived by his wife Sue Y. Sanford; son and daughter-in-law Justin DeWitt and Shelley Sanford; as well as his grandsons Cole and Ty.

Brenda and I were shocked and deeply saddened at Sandy's sudden passing. If you are lucky in life as we have been you will meet a very few really outstanding people . Sandy Sanford was one of those special people. Very Intelligent, Patriotic with a Military career of service . Successful Business Man , Fit, Focused, with and extreme attention to detail and loyal and supportive to all. .Additionally , he was a great neighbor and close friend for many years .We were most fortunate to have known him.
