James Harry Tsoukalas, of Palm Bay passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, after a long illness. He was born on November 10, 1940, in New Haven, Connecticut.

James is survived by his devoted wife, Kathryn Tsoukalas; his son, J.T. Tsoukalas; his brother, Bill Tsoukalas; and his precious great-granddaughter, Isa. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Lisa Cross.

A proud veteran of the United States Navy, James served four years, including time during the Vietnam War, with his final assignment aboard the USS Los Angeles (CA-135). Following his military service, he worked at Kennedy Space Center as a Quality Control Inspector, contributing to the nation’s space program with great pride.

James cherished his Greek heritage and loved celebrating it at local festivals, where friends affectionately nicknamed him “Jimmy the Greek.” He was also a proud member of American Legion Post 81, where he enjoyed the camaraderie of his fellow veterans.

James will be remembered for his warm spirit, sense of humor, and love for his family and heritage. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
