Jim Bixby, 64, of West Melbourne passed on March 2, 2023 at home. He was born on May 24, 1958 in Newark, New Jersey to LeRoy Frank and Joan Virginia Glaser Bixby.
His family includes his children, David, Kate, and Amanda Bixby and grandchildren; his father, Roy Bixby; brother Tom Bixby and sister Connie Schneckenberg.
He was preceded in death by his mother Joan.
Jim was a friend to all who knew him.
Family and friends may call from 4 until 6 pm, with a service at 5 pm on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Brownlie Maxwell Funeral Home, 1010 E. Palmetto Avenue, Melbourne, Florida.
Bixby would give the shirt off his back (or the food off his plate or the the golf club from his bag) for those he loved... or just kinda liked :). His humor was one of a kind and his friendship will be woefully missed. I hope you've found endless perfect Rueben's Bix.
