I worked very closely with Julie for over 20 years at BHS. She was a mentor, a confidant, and a friend who helped me become a better teacher as we navigated through the intricacies of learning and teaching together. I'll miss your sense of humor, your knowledge, and our collaboration, but most of all, I'll miss our friendship. Condolences to your friends and family who will also miss your wit and exuberance.

As a teacher who worked beside Julie for over twenty years, I knew her as a teacher who served as an advocate for her students, a person full of energy and had a sense of humor that made me smile anytime we interacted. I am very sorry for her family's loss and she will be greatly missed by those of us whose lives she touched. She will be missed and fondly remembered. Condolences, -A. Mitchell
