She was born on January 3, 1957 in Summit, New Jersey to Joseph and Jaquetta Chapman Clark.

Her family includes her husband Justin L. Kanner; son Todd Cales; brother Timothy Clark and nephews Johnny and Joseph. She was preceded in death by her sister Kathleen.

A licensed practical nurse, she worked at National Health Care as well as various nursing homes throughout her career.

Laurie was a good woman who gave of herself to others.

A talented artist who shared great drawings, she enjoyed music, all kinds of comedy, especially British. Doing things with her husband was always enjoyed. She attended Catholic Mass; peace be with her.

Laurie, I was so shocked to hear of your death. I wish we could have been closer, more like sisters than Sister-in-Laws. You were very good person and you a great wife to my brother Justin. R. I. P. Eternally Dear Laurie.
