Les Weaver Cooke was a decorated Vietnam War Veteran who was awarded 3 Bronze Stars with Valor and 3 Purple Hearts.

He was born to Weaver Cooke and Glenna Sue Thompson on June 8, 1945 in the hills of West Virginia. He lived 49 years of marriage with his wife Marcia Lynn Cooke and fathered one daughter, Heather Kruse; he was a stepfather to Jeffrey Senters and the late Daniel Senters.
