With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Catherine (Butler) Dooley on November 15, 2024. Born on November 13, 1952, in Wall Township, NJ. Marilyn devoted her life to her Faith in Jesus Christ, Family, and Friends, while bravely facing a long battle with cancer. Her life was full of love, laughter and countless memories that will be treasured forever.
She is survived by her beloved son, Robert Matthew Dooley, and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Anne (Sanford) Dooley; her treasured granddaughters, Emma Grace Dooley and Isabella Faith Dooley; and her devoted sister, Patricia Mary Butler.
For 18 years, she was the proud owner of Telco Management Group, a testament to her hard work and dedication. Beyond her professional achievements, Marilyn’s true passion lay in creating beautiful quilts, each stitch reflecting her kindness, compassion, and generous spirit.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Marilyn’s life during the viewing hours at Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home at 1010 Palmetto Ave, Melbourne, FL, 32901 on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Friends and family are welcome to participate in saying the Rosary for Marilyn at 6:30 PM. A final viewing will be held prior to the Funeral Mass, starting at 10:30 AM, with the Mass beginning at 11:00 AM. The service will be held at The Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 3050 North Highway A1A, Indialantic, FL 32903, followed by the procession to St. Joseph Chapel and Cemetery, 1422 Miller Street, Palm Bay, FL 32905.
Marilyn will be remembered for her warmth and the love she shared with everyone around her. She touched many lives and will be dearly missed. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her firstborn son, Matthew Dooley, mother Marjorie Elizabeth (Tully) Butler, and father, Matthew John Butler.
