Marvin A “Tony” Kessinger, 76, of Melbourne, Florida passed into eternal life on December 29, 2025. Born on February 26, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky, Tony was born to Marvin T Kessinger and Julia M Bindner. His siblings are Bobbie, Donna, Patsy, and Charles. He graduated Bishop David High School in Louisville, Kentucky 1967, Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University Blue Raiders in 1971, Graduate Degree in Religion from Liberty University in 1993, Doctoral Degree of Philosophy and Religion from Christian Bible College in 2003.
Tony was a banker for 20 years and self-employed financial consultant for 20 additional years. His passions in life were baseball, golf, writing, poetry, music and teaching God’s word. Tony was a Bible institute teacher for pastors globally, in 15 years he made 50 trips covering 5 continents training some 2,500 pastors.
Tony is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Diane Kessinger; their children Tory (Page) Kessinger, Tonya (Russell) Pieri, and Tai (Corey) Trauscht, 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild with another arriving this coming May.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at First Baptist Church of Melbourne on January 31, 2026 at 10am with a reception following at the church.
