Maryann Crorkin
Maryann Crorkin, a beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully at the age of 87 at home in Melbourne, Florida.
Maryann Klyberg Crorkin was born into a large and loving family in Hell’s Kitchen, New York where she grew up amongst nine children. Maryann married her loving husband, Patrick Crorkin in 1960 and the two of them raised their children in the Bronx, where they were an integral part of the community. Patrick was a firefighter and Maryann worked at the local Chase branch for many years.
Maryann and Pat moved to Cedar Village in Brick, New Jersey to enjoy their life as retirees by the beach! Her and her family had many years of great times enjoying swimming in the pool, playing card games with friends and dining out at all the local restaurants, a favorite being Shore Fresh where they were known by name. When Pat passed in 2023, Maryann moved to Melbourne, Florida to be near her sisters whom she remained close with throughout life. Maryann was a wonderful grandmother, mother, sister and friend to many, she will be deeply missed by all those who were fortunate to know her.
Maryann is survived by her children Coleen (Jack O’Flanagan), Patrick (Christine Crorkin) and her devoted grandchildren, Kelsie (Chris Rockwell), Patrick (Jenna Crorkin), Michael, Kelly and great-granddaughter Isla Rockwell. Maryann is also survived by four of her sisters, Joannie, Caroyln, Eileen and Maureen as well as sister-in-law Margaret Crorkin Dixon and many nieces and nephews.
