Helene Kichefski Suflas

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helene Kichefski Suflas. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Helene came to Brevard in 1980 from Miami, Florida. She was a retired high school teacher and continued to work for Carnival Cruises late into her life. She volunteered at Patrick Air Force Base and loved attending events with the Officers Wives Club. She also kept involved with the Brevard Panhellenic organization.

Her kindness will not be forgotten nor her love of travel and cheering for her alma mater the University of Miami. Helene attended services at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Melbourne Beach.

She will lovingly be remembered by the following survivors: Helene Putnam Kichefski (mother), Lance Peeples (son), Kanai Peeples (grandson), Mary Galeri (sister), Katerina and Kristin Galeri (nieces), and AJ Galeri (nephew). A private memorial service will be held at a later time.

The family wishes to send a special thanks to her caregivers and all the staff at Advocates for the Aging. Rest in Peace, you will forever be in our hearts!
