Anirude Motie, age 68, passed on January 9th, 2021. Fondly known as Jai to his family, he was a beloved partner, brother, father, uncle, grandfather and granduncle. He has touched so many lives with his calm and thoughtful compassion. He dedicated his life’s work to his patients. He opened All Animal and Bird Hospital in 1988 and practiced veterinary medicine for over 40 years. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
We just found out about Dr. MOTIE’S passing. We were shocked and saddened to hear of it! He was our vet for over 30 years and was the best, kindest, thorough and ABSOLUTE BEST vet anyone could ever hope for. He saw us through the care and passing of many of our cats and birds. Covid kept us away for over 2 years so we did not know. So sad but so grateful for the years of his care! Condolences to his family. Grief is indeed the price of love. All the postings are evidence he was much loved!
I only just heard this sad news....Dr Motie, you are a special light in this world & will shine on forever<3
The kindness you showed my family years ago has never been forgotten.....meeting us at your office on New Years morning So you could help our pet bunny cross over the 🌈Rainbow Bridge
YOU are a special someone, in this life & always
Dr. Moti and I attended Tuskegee University in 1981. We were best friends and developed the love of brothers. My last word , " By Ramrup I will see you for Christmas " echoes in my head. See you later my brother. I can't believe you are gone!
Truly saddened to hear of Dr. Moti’s passing. For more than 20 years he has been caring for our dogs. What a truly compassionate and brilliant man!!! We will miss him dearly. The Newton Family.
We are shocked and devastated to hear about Dr. Motie's passing. He's been our vet since our beloved hound was born in 2016. He's done so much for us and our dog and his calm compassionate demeanor meant so much to all three of us. He once left in the middle of another appointment to give our dog a shot after he accidentally ingested ibuprofen at 4mo. old, which truly saved his life. He told my panicked husband at the time to not even think about payment right now, "we're saving the dog first." He only charged us half cost a week later. Our dog has ear issues, and Dr. Motie was always there to help. At our visit last year, he told us that we'll keep trying until we find what works, because "you never give up on your dog." I'll also always remember him playfully laughing at us when he asked for a poop sample and we brought him an entire ziplock bag full. He said he only needs "this" much, holding his fingers up. We still laugh about that today. Dr. Motie was truly the best, and the bar has been set so high for us as we search for another vet. He made such a difference to so many.
Dr. Motie was so kind and gentle, he has taken good care of our dogs for over 20 years. He loved is children so much and bragged about them all the time. Dave & I will miss him.
Sorry we just found out now, the Tomasetti's

Dr. Motie is one of the Best! My daughter and I have followed him from clinic to clinic. His compassion, understanding and love of animals was a great gift. He was the one vet who went above and beyond for us and our pets! His smile, calm voice and caring nature and overall wonderful personality will be greatly missed. We have heavy hearts with tears in our eyes! Hard to believe he’s gone! Prayers for his family! We are unsure if we will be able to find another who we trust the lives of our fur babies.

I am heart broken to learn of Dr. Motors passing. He was an amazing vet and the best in handling his patients parents. He helped me get through the last days with my Shy baby and very compassionately walked me through her trip over the rainbow bridge. We will all miss him terribly. The sudden and unexpected death of Dr. Motie is a profound loss for his family, friends, colleagues, and his loyal staff that worked with him by his side. He put his heart and soul into his practice to help, protect, heal and comfort the most vulnerable, the Animal Kingdom. His expertise and caring helped save our dear Indian Ringneck Bird, Boo Girl. We are all so saddened how a vibrant and talented man can be taken from us so quickly and everyone he touched and every animal that passed thru his hands is eternally grateful and his memory will live in all our hearts forever. Amen!
I am deeply saddened by the loss of Dr. Motie. He provided my family with the best care possible over the last 12 years for our fur babies. I will truly miss him. He always had stories to tell. Dr. Motie even gave me chicken advice. Such a shock! Rest easy Dr. Motie.
