Hutch graduated from Melbourne High School in 1961, then went on to National College of Chiropractic in Chicago, earning a degree in Doctor of Chiropractic. Hutch went into practice in Melbourne with his father Bo “Bud” to many. Bo and Hutch had a very wonderful working relationship that lasted for many years until Bo’s retirement. Hutch truly loved his patients and being a chiropractor. Many great jokes, laughs and friendships were shared at the office. An adjustment on the tailgate after hunting with his buddies was always a part of his love of chiropractic’s too. Hutch retired after 47 years of a very successful and fulfilling practice. In retirement, Hutch spent many fun-filled days at The Grant Hunting Camp, riding in the Grant woods on his Arctic Cat buggy and meeting up with his “Mug Club” friends at The Old Fish House in Grant.
Hutch especially loved fishing and hunting. He was great at both! He also had a great admiration for guns and knives and was very knowledgeable on both of those topics. He loved the southern heritage and his favorite place on earth was The Grant Hunting Camp. His friendships from there became an extended part of family to Hutch. He was also very fond of his beloved dog Millie.
Hutch was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Melbourne.

We had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Stewart only a short time ago. We ejoyed his sense of humor and stories about hunting. He always had a sweet smile on his face while telling those stories. Sending prayers to his family.

So very sad to hear about the loss of "Hutchie". We lived across the street from the Stewarts. When we ran out of girl sitters, my parents called him to babysit my brother Joey and myself this was in the early 50's. We talked him into playing cowboys and Indians. Not knowing what we were capable of, he let us tie him to a chair so we could dance around him. He did not realize that we would tie him up so well! I do not remember how long he stayed in that chair, but Dad had to pay him double to come back and baby sit us again! I sure will miss him.
