Carol Lee Hagan, a longtime resident of Palm Bay, Florida, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on April 30, 2025, at the Life Care Center of Palm Bay. Born on November 18, 1936, in Hackensack, New Jersey, Carol brought warmth and kindness to all who knew her throughout her 88 years.

Carol’s life was deeply intertwined with her family. She is survived by her beloved husband of many years, Jim Hagan; her devoted daughters and their spouses, Robin and Ken Ouellette, and Kim and Bert Misner. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Greg Ouellette, Katie Parker, and Clay, Chase, and Ciera Misner; and her adored great-grandchildren, Cooper and Chloe Misner. Carol also held a special place in the hearts of her three nieces, Linda McGargee, Cheryl Piccoli, and Bobbi Pink, all residing in Northern New Jersey, who loved her like a second mother.

It was during her time at Ridgewood High School that a significant chapter of Carol’s life began – it was there she met her future husband, Jim. Their bond grew strong, culminating in a beautiful marriage that lasted over six decades, a milestone they joyously celebrated with their 60th anniversary in January of this year. Carol furthered her education at Green Mountain College in Rutland, Vermont, from 1954 to 1955.

For a remarkable 25 years, Carol dedicated herself as an Avon representative, building connections within her community and taking pride in her work. In her free time, she generously volunteered her time with the Altar Guild at Church of Our Savior in Palm Bay, Florida. Her dedication to the church and its community was a testament to her caring nature.

One of Carol’s favorite activities was exercising at ProHealth & Fitness in Palm Bay and Melbourne, Florida, where she and Jim made many lasting friendships. They enjoyed socializing together at various places and events, often listening and dancing to music.

Carol’s warmth, kindness, and genuinely caring heart left a lasting impression on the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She had a deep affection for animals and found immense joy in the companionship of her many pets throughout the years. Carol’s loving presence and gentle spirit will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who were touched by her kindness. Her memory will be cherished forever.

A public viewing will be held from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
