Charles Nathan McAllister

Charles Nathan McAllister (Mac), Retired Lt. Col., U.S. Air Force of Satellite Beach, Florida, passed away on March 25, 2025.
Mac was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 7, 1929. He was the son of Charles A. and Leona T. McAllister.
A 20-year veteran of the USAF as an Air/Sea rescue helicopter pilot, including his last year of service in southeast Asia with tours in Alaska, South Carolina, Korea, and Patrick Air Force Base. After his retirement, Mac and his wife, Lois, traveled all over the United States and Eastern and Western Canada for six years in their motor home.
Charles is survived by his daughter Tracey (Mark) Spruill of Satellite Beach; grandchildren Dyan (Sam) Dickerson of Tampa and Dylan (Gabby) Spruill of St. Petersburg; great-grandchildren Charlie and Sammy.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lois, and sons Raymond and Michael McAllister and companion Rose Geraci.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, with visitation 30 minutes prior to the service at Brownlie Maxwell Funeral Home.
