Chloedean Palmer Parks was born in Herrin, Illinois on September 9, 1932 to Virgil W. Palmer and his wife Edith “Mary” Vaughn. She was raised on a their farm with 9 other siblings. She was married to Dale Lamar Parks for 54 years. As a military wife and mother, she lived in Washington D.C., Alaska and finally settled in Florida. She worked and lived in Melbourne for most of her life, finally retiring from L3Harris at the age of 83.

She enjoyed her retirement years spent with her family, gardening and caring for her many citrus trees.

Chloedean was preceded in death by her husband Dale L. Parks. She is survived by her sons Dale F. Parks and Keith R. Parks (Cindy) along with her grandchildren Weston Tanner, Cameron, Mason, Mayling, Tina (Michael) and great grandchildren Jordan, Ciciellia and Michael.

Family and friends may call at Brownlie Maxwell Funeral Home, 1010 E. Palmetto Avenue, Melbourne, Florida, 32901 on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 10 am until time of service at 11 am. Entombment with her husband will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens.
