Paul and family, we were very saddened to hear of Janet’s passing. Know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. We have many fond memories of you both from when we were neighbors on Lakeview Drive. Our boys remember Janet’s Christmas cookies every year. She always had a smile on her face. She loved to talk about her boys! She will be sadly missed.

Our deepest condolences to the family. As a young boy, I so loved Janet ("Mrs Failla"). Every time I came knocking to see if one of her boys could come out and play, I was met with a hug, a cookie, a Popsicle and a huge smile. Over the decades, the hug and the smile (and the cookies) were freely available and always appreciated. May God now bless her with the love that she so freely gave to others.

Janet was the sweetest lady and quickly showed us friendship and kindness when we moved in five years ago. I could always hear her coming with the barking of her dog, Brutus. He was a character like her. We certainly will miss her and wish her family, are deepest condolences.

My Aunt Janet’s beautiful smile and contagious laughter will always be in my heart. She was always such a JOY to spend time with at family get togethers. Janet’s legendary cookies and other desserts will also be remembered by all as she was an avid and talented baker. My very special Aunt Janet will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. I am praying for the entire family during this difficult time.

My deepest sympathy to my brother Paul Failla, devoted husband to Janet for 65 years. Janet was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and Great- Grandmother, who also enjoyed many good friends and neighbors. She was especially noted for her wonderful baking attributes which she generously shared with family and friends alike. Janet was always ready with a smile, good humor, and a helping hand to those in need. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Our prayers and sympathy to her entire family.
