Judith “Judy” Pearl Girton (nee George), 85, of Melbourne, Florida, entered into eternal rest on July 27, 2025, in Melbourne, Florida.

Born on September 3, 1939, in West Palm Beach, Florida, Judy was known for her kind heart, unwavering love for her family, and her gift for bringing warmth and laughter to those around her.

She retired in April 2004 after 19 years as a beloved baker with the Brevard County School Board, where she touched countless lives with her joyful spirit and dedication.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her sons, Charles and Thomas; and her siblings, Gilbert, Gary, and Jean.

Judy’s legacy of love continues through her daughter, Crystal; her brother, Grady; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and 11 nieces and
nephews, along with a large extended family, her church families, and many dear friends.

A celebration of Judy’s life will be held at the Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with family visitation from 1pm – 2pm

In honor of her generous spirit and many years of volunteering at the food bank at the Tabernacle Church, memorial contributions may be made to Second Harvest Food Bank.

She will be remembered for her faith in the Lord, her enduring kindness, and the boundless love she shared with all who knew her.

I admired Judy for the life she lived. She said she believed in Jesus, and she actually lived her life that way. I enjoyed the lunches we had at cheddars and other places. I will miss her..
