June Rose Finneran, 97, passed away on December 7, 2024 at home in West Melbourne, Florida. June was the widow of Joseph T. Finneran who passed 11 years prior. She was a beloved mother to Kathleen Lafayette of Madison, Alabama, Joseph Finnivan and spouse Beverly of Charlemont, Massachusetts, Jill Swain and spouse Bryan of West Melbourne, Florida. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her three children; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
June and Joseph moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida in 1982 and made many new friends through June’s association with the Nostalgia Follies, singing and dancing on stage for over 25 years.
She was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts on April 6, 1927 to Pauline and Domenick Pedi, and was the youngest among seven siblings. They all
shared a love of music and were very, very close. Blessings to all of them now, reunited and singing in beautiful harmony.
A celebration of her life will be on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 2 pm at Brownlie Maxwell Funeral Home, 1010 E. Palmetto Avenue, Melbourne, Florida.
