Kathryn Jones 97, of Melbourne Florida passed away on April 22, 2024 in Melbourne Florida. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Melbourne since 1938, the VFW Post 4206 Auxiliary, Military Order of Cooties Auxiliary and AZAN Ladies of Nobility. She graduated from Melbourne High School in 1944

Survivors include her son Lewis George Jones, daughter Starla Ann Clarke
son Stephen Leonard Jones, son David Todd Jones, Sr. daughter Kathryn Marjorie Anderson, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren.

Calling and visitation with the family will be from 12 noon to 2PM on Monday April 29th with a funeral service at 2pm at the Brownlie-Maxwell Chapel. Donations can be made in her name to the Shriner’s Children Hospital.

Kathryn was my Mom, Helen Crews’ best friend. I was a part of their friendship taking them to the movies and out to lunch many times and enjoyed those outings immensely! I know I will see them again when I get to Heaven. I miss her but am joyful for her entry to Heaven. Sweet friend on earth, sweet angel in Heaven!
