It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nicholas Joseph Mottolo, 19, of Melbourne, Florida. His life was tragically cut short on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
Nicholas is survived by his loving family, including his mother, Trina Mottolo; father, Paul Mottolo; grandmother, Elizabeth Furlong; great-grandmother, Mary Furlong; grandfather, Paul Cawthron; sister, Taylor Mottolo; brother, Joshua Mottolo; niece, Mia Mottolo; nephews, Malachai and Micah Mottolo; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alfred Mottolo; cousin, Jenelle Lapinski; and uncle, Justin Horan.
Born on March 7, 2005, in Melbourne, Florida, Nicholas had a vibrant spirit and a natural entrepreneurial drive. Though he did not follow a traditional academic path, he possessed an innate creativity and determination that set him apart.
A service to honor Nicholas will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 10:00 am at Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home, 1010 Palmetto Ave, Melbourne, FL 32901. Following the service, family and friends are invited to celebrate his life at the At Ease Club, located at 1600 Old Glory Blvd, Melbourne, Florida 32940 from 12:00-2pm.
Nicholas’s kindness, passion, and unwavering love for his family will forever be remembered.
