Terry Warren Chapman

Born December 3, 1956 in Kissimmee, Florida
Departed August 7, 2024 in Melbourne, Florida

Terry passed unexpectedly, quickly and peacefully into Jesus’s loving sleep. Terry received the spirit of Jesus at Eau Gallie First Baptist Church Melbourne, Florida and is a witness to the merciful gifts of Jesus Christ.

Terry is survived by her husband of 42 years Robert V. Chapman Jr., sons Robert V. Chapman III and George W. Chapman; sisters Kaye Delorme, Deborah Mitchell and Marguerite Harvey.

Family who passed before, both of her parents Francis Arthur Warren and June McGahee Warren; sister Rita Bass; brother Francis A. Warren Jr.; aunt Edith Taylor alongside her husband Frank A. Taylor. The Taylors raised Terry and her brother after their mother’s unexpected passing.

Terry worked outside the home at various electronic manufacturers as an assembler. She worked the last few years prior to her retirement, through an agency being a caregiver and companion to special needs individuals. Terry never lost sight of her primary duty of being a loving wife and mother in managing the family home and raising her boys to be God-fearing young men and guiding them to Jesus, a job she accomplished without failure.

Terry will surely be missed but it will be a glorious day when Jesus returns and awakens us all – Amen!!!

I am so sorry to see the passing of this lovely woman, whom I knew years ago when we were neighbors in downtown Melbourne. Terry was such a warm, friendly and encouraging person and a sweetheart to have as a neighbor. She helped me get my first place set up and we shared a lot of laughs in doing so. I was privileged to be with her when she gave birth to her son, George. Much love to you, Terry, and to the entire family.

I've known Terry and Bob for many years. We served together on the frontlines of ministry. She was a precious lady with a big heart for the preborn and for special needs adults. She will be missed!
