Vincent Yotti

Born in Chicago, Illinois
Departed November 21, 2023 in Melbourne Beach, Florida

Vincent Yotti, better known as “Vince,” is survived by his wife of 72 years, Duane Marilyn Yotti; his daughters Peggy Yotti Lynch, Lindy Yotti Olinger, Cara Yotti Hudnall and her husband Nick Hudnall. His grandchildren include Cody Vincent Farrington, Shea Nicole McKibben, her husband Scott McKibben, Evan Lynch and Austin Lee Olinger; great grandchildren include Caylee Farrington, Chloe Farrington and Silver Avery McKibben.

Vince was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and served in the Air Force for 3 years in 1950. Vince married his wife Duane in June of 1952 and started building and remodeling homes in DesPlaines, Illinois. Vince and Duane moved to Florida in 1957 and Vince continued building as a very creative and successful General Contractor. When Vince passed at 94, he was still holding an active General Contractor’s License and had rental properties. His mind was sharp until the end; inventing things, tinkering in his garage with many projects and had ideas of how he was going to develop his commercial property.

The best way to describe Vince was he lived a “full life”, he knew what he wanted and didn’t want and “Don’t You Forget It”, just one of his favorite expressions. Vince loved his family, made a friend wherever he went and touched many lives. He will be missed!!

Vince passed away in peace at his home and was surrounded by his family.

A memorial service for Vince Yotti will be held at Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home, located at 1010 Palmetto Avenue, Melbourne, FL 32901 on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 10:00 am, followed by USAF honors. A Celebration of Life for Vince will be following the service with the location provided at the memorial.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Hospice of Health First – Melbourne, United Inventors Association or a Humane Society of your choice.

Dear Grandpa, thank you for the legacy you’ve left upon your family and friends. May we all continue in this life to fight for those who we love, choose to be persistent, and never stop thinking of the next best idea or dream that may change our life forever! With love forever-Austin Lee (Yotti) Olinger
