So saddened to find out this lovely, kind woman has passed on. She was like another mother to me. I loved our annual breakfasts when I visited Florida every Fall. She will be remembered as a friend and mentor. My condolences to Martha and Amy. God bless.

Both of my boys had Mrs. Durham for 3rd grade in the 70's. Both really liked her as did I. Later, after our elementary school ties, I saw her again when she had her taxes done at H & R Block where I was working. She always asked about the boys and wanted to know what they were doing. She asked me to call her Nadine but she'll always be Mrs. Durham to me. I know you'll miss her.

So sad to learn of Mrs. Durham's passing. She was a terrific person and my favorite elementary school teacher. I think she was *everyone's* favorite teacher at Indialantic Elementary, ca. 1976. She was positive, kind, and understanding to the children she taught. She clearly loved what she was doing and she was excellent at it. She made a difference. Rest easy, Mrs. Durham.

So sorry for your loss. Loved Nadine and Charlie! Played golf with both of them and Bridge with Nadine. She introduced us to the music of Beegie Adair. Think of her often. A lovely lady.
