On Thursday, January 6, 2022, Mark Allen Hesher was called home at the age of 65. This was after a brief battle with an aggressive cancer.

Mark was born in Decatur, Indiana, on January 15th, 1956. The family moved to Colorado from 1965 to 1968. He then relocated to Daytona, Florida as a child with his mother, father and two brothers. Mark was an avid surfer in his youth and always considered the beach his home. He would later enlist in the Army and reserves and then go to school to be an electrical technician. He has been a long-time resident in Brevard County, Florida.

If you knew Mark, you knew he was a jovial person that would never meet a stranger. His warm smile was what always drew people in. He had a carefree attitude and lived his life to the best of his abilities. He married twice which resulted in three loving children.

Mark is survived by his brothers Bruce and Nelson Hesher, his son Matt Hesher, daughters Teresa Tomerlin and Katie Hesher, and 4 grandchildren John, Nathan, Isabella Tomerlin and Christian Bruer. He was preceded in death by his parents Neil and Janet Hesher.

Join the Hesher family for a memorial service on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022, at 7pm. The service will be held at Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral home, in Melbourne Florida.
