Roland Duane McCollum, 93, was born in Jackson, MI to James and Hazel McCollum and passed away June 3, 2021 in Melbourne.
Roland was a Coast Guard Veteran of WW II. He retired in 1991 from Harris Corp. where he was a Mechanical Engineer. During his career he received numerous awards and two patents.
Roland is survived by his wife, Mary; daughters, Cynthia Gail McCollum and Susan (Blair) Chandler; stepsons, John (Beth) Lord and Dr. James Lord; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be Saturday, June 12, 2021, 1:00pm at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 2030 N. Hwy A1A, Indialantic, FL 32903.
