I was very privileged to interview Hermine when she applied to work on 6 East at Holmes Regional Medical Center, in Melbourne, Florida. I was very impressed with Hermine's warmth and caring nature. We worked together for months. As our floor was being remodeled and changed to oncology from vascular and general surgery, nursing staff was temporarily relocated throughout the hospital. I rarely saw Hermine after that, but I have never forgotten her In fact, I was just thinking about my friends and co-workers at Health First ( HRMC) and decided to search That's how I learned of her funeral. I wish I had known sooner! I know that Hermine is terribly missed. I feel certain that we will meet again in heaven.
