Departed March 21, 2023 in Volusia County, Florida

Bryan Gabriel Bresnahan (Gabe) passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Gabe was born on May 29, 2004 in Slidell, Louisiana.

Growing up in a military family, Gabe experienced many different places, was loved by all and completed his assignment here on earth in West Melbourne, Florida.

Gabe was known for his amazing red hair, a.k.a. his “luscious locks”, his great sense of humor and the love he had for his family. Gabe completed high school a year and a half early and worked for the county of Brevard.

When not working, Gabe enjoyed gaming, spending time with his siblings, working on his car with his father and watching “On Patrol” with his mother. Gabe was known for his willingness to help friends and neighbors and his jovial temperament.

Gabe is survived by his parents, Brian and Sunni; his brothers, Jarred and Zach; his sister, Alyssa; his paternal grandmother, Stella Roush and her husband Lyle; his maternal grandmother, Jo Doll and her husband Dennis; his maternal grandfather Sonny Johnsey and his wife Carole; his many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his beloved dog, Denver. Gabe was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Edward Bresnahan.

While he was taken too soon, Gabe will live on in our hearts and memories forever.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 12 pm in the community center located at 4152 Merrillville Dr, West Melbourne, FL 32904.

In lieu of flowers, Gabe’s family asks that guests donate to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
