Dinh (Kim) Thi (Bong) Leone

Born on July 23, 1950 in , Vietnam
Passed on April 22, 2026 in Melbourne, Florida

Dinh Thi (Bong) Leone, affectionately known as Kim to her friends and family, was taken from our hearts too soon. On the evening of April 22, 2026, she passed away due to medical complications. Her passing was marked by the loving presence of her husband, Dominick Leone, her daughter, Kendy Harcourt, and her sister-in-law, Virginia Zalnoski, who stood vigil by her side as she took her final breath.
Early Life and Family
Kim was born on July 23, 1950, in Vietnam to Dinh Van Tanh and Dang Thi Hue, both of whom have preceded her in death. In November 1972, she immigrated to the United States and became a naturalized citizen in October 1975. Kim married the love of her life, Dominick, on November 25, 1972. Together, they built a family and a legacy that will live on in our hearts for eternity.
Career and Community
Kim was known as a force of nature and an exceptionally hard-working woman. She spent a significant part of her career at Dictaphone as an electronics assembler in Melbourne, Florida. Beyond her professional life, Kim was a valued member of the Ascencion Catholic Church congregation. She formed deep connections and friendships wherever she went, many of whom she considered family.
Retirement and Personal Passions
After retiring in June 2015, Kim embraced a more relaxed lifestyle. She enjoyed taking ocean cruises and was always Dominick’s biggest supporter on the golf course. Kim also found happiness in cultivating fruit and vegetable plants and trees in her backyard. She delighted in cooking and sharing her traditional Vietnamese recipes with family and friends. Her legendary egg rolls, always in high demand, were a testament to her culinary talent and generosity.
Legacy and Loved Ones
Kim will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her and be touched by her kindness and grace. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her most: her devoted husband of 53 years, Dominick Leone (Palm Bay, FL); her children and spouses, Kendy Harcourt (Scott) (Palm Bay, FL), Wayne Leone (Angie) (Warrenton, VA), and Connie Frazier (Chris) (Pauls Valley, OK); her grandchildren, Lindsay Connor, Christopher Harcourt, Cody Weeks, Tyler Weeks, Brendan Harcourt, Alicia Leone, Alexis Leone, Lucas Frazier; and her great-grandchild, Avery Weeks.
Celebration of Life
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Ascencion Catholic Church in Melbourne, Florida on May 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with Father John Bosco officiating. As Kim passes through the Pearly Gates, we hold tightly to the laughter and lessons she left behind. Honoring her wish to be cremated, her ashes will remain with her husband until the time comes for them to be reunited in their final place of peace, to share in an eternity of love.
