John Maynard 92yrs young joined his beloved wife Betty in heaven on September 19, 2026.
After graduating from Vinson High School, John served in the Korean War and recieved two purple hearts. He was a Rural Letter Carrier till retirement and gave his time not only to his family but to being a Mason, Shriner and a Jester. He was a life member with American Legion, VFW ,DAV along with being a member of the Elks and Moose.
John is survived by his daughter Johnie (Frank) Radford and his three sons Timothy (Sharon), Mark and Stephen Maynard ,who blessed John with 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Viewing for John will be Monday Sept 21 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Brownie-Maxwell Funeral Home 1010 E. Palmetto Avenue
