Joseph Crockett Corell

Joseph Crockett Corell age 94, of Indialantic FL and formerly of Waynesboro went home to be with The Lord July 16, 2018.
He was born on July 10, 1924 in Stuarts Draft, a son of the late Andrew Blair Corell and Cynthia Crockett Corell.
He was retired from the US Postal Service, Waynesboro Post Office, with thirty six years service. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of Hope Community Church in Waynesboro.
He was preceded in Death by his first wife, Martha Cooley Corell and his second wife Frances Defenbaugh Corell, a brother Andrew J Corell, three sisters, Ann Grove, Mary Foley, Eleanor Wahrenbrock, and two great granddaughters, Avery Rose Hughes and Emma Grace
Truslow.
He is survived by a sister, Betty Strobehn, a son Steve Corell, wife Tamara, daughters Marty Porter, husband Blake, and Jill Truslow, husband Miles; Three grand-daughters, Keturah Hughes, husband Chris, Kimberly Wagoner, husband Jim, Amy Van Covern, husband David; two grandsons, Justin Truslow, wife Amber, and Jared Truslow; ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held in Riverview Cemetery at 10:00 am July 21, 2018 concluding with a memorial service at Hope Community Church currently housed at the Waynesboro Church of the Brethren, 364 Bridge Ave, Waynesboro. Rev Dr. Glen Holman will be officiating.
The family will receive friends at the reception following the memorial service in the Fellowship Hall of the Church of the Brethren.
Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews, Andy, James, and David Corell, grandsons, Jared and Justin Truslow and grandson-in law, Chris Hughes.
