Linda Lee Cates of Palm Bay, FL sadly passed away on 12/14/2022 at 74 years of age. She was born in Vero Beach, FL on 01/05/1948 to her parents who preceded her death, Harry and Frances Griffith. She was the eldest of 3 and survived by her two sisters, Debra Kegerreis and Connie Farrell. She is also survived by her two sons, Matt and Chris Cates, grandchildren Matthew, Chase and Maddie and multiple nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved very much. Linda, affectionately known as Lee among friends, Mom to so many more than just her children and Nana to her grandchildren was a wonderful woman who led a life of caring for all of those around her. She loved to cook almost as much as she loved to feed her loved ones. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all of those who knew and loved her. The family will be holding a service for her Wednesday, December 21st 2022 at 3:00pm at Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home located at 1010 Palmetto Ave. Melbourne, FL 32901. A celebration of life will immediately follow for those who would like to attend.
