Raul Reveron

Born June 6, 1981 in Melbourne, Florida
Departed March 26, 2022 in Orlando, Florida

With deepest sorrow we announce that Chef Raul Reveron left this world unexpectedly on March 26, 2022. He was born in Melbourne, Florida on June 6, 1981.

Raul was a devoted husband and a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and uncle. Leaving behind to mourn his passing and honor his life are his husband, Robert Young; his parents, Madeline and Raul Reveron Ruiz; his siblings, Madeline Cales, Rafael Cales and Cesar Reveron; his sisters-in-law, Amy Cales, Kelly Reveron and Nicole Allen; his parents-in-law June and Michael Young; his aunt and uncle, Aurea Reveron and Cesar Guzman; and his nieces and nephews, Robert, Eric, Isabella, Sofia, Kendall, Katelynn, and Madison.

He spoiled, cherished, and loved his dogs, Poppy and Lily – who will miss him dearly.

His happy place was in the kitchen. From a young age Raul wanted to be a Chef and worked extremely hard to make his dream come true. He was immensely talented, gifted and devoted to his craft. Through his journey he became a mentor and friend to countless others, who are also mourning his passing.

He touched many lives and brought joy and his own unique flair to every situation. His smile was infectious, his work ethic was unparalleled, and his generosity was boundless.

When you think of Raul, celebrate the good memories, the acts of kindness and his gentle soul. Put on an upbeat song and dance like nobody is watching, eat a good meal with a glass of wine, play a card game and be super competitive or just simply pay forward the kindness he afforded each and every person that crossed his path.

We will be holding a celebration of life Sunday, April 10 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, 1 Grand Cypress Blvd, Orlando, Fl 32836. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, Raul’s family would appreciate donations in his name to One Orlando Alliance

My deepest condolences during this difficult time. Raul and I worked together at HROIA and for the two years I was there I couldn’t have had a nicer coworker. He was calm during the crazy, a safe place to talk and vent and laugh with. I will always consider him a friend. My heart breaks for what his family is going through.

Growing up with Raul, he was more than just the little brother, he was our mascot. But more importantly, he was our friend. Always willing to speak his mind and willing to do anything just to be included in the shenanigans. I am speechless with disbelief and grief that he's gone so soon. He left a permanent hole in my heart. Peace be with his soul and love be left with his family. I will see you again my friend, and I expect my characters to all be leveled up when I get there!
