Robert (Bob) W Johnston passed away on Oct. 12, 2021 at VITAS Inpatient Hospice Unit in Rockledge, Florida, at the age of 85. A long time resident of Melbourne, FL, he retired from Harris Corporation in 1995 after 30 years of service. He enjoyed performing Barbershop singing with the Harbor City Harmonizers since 1993. Robert is survived by his wife Helen “Judy” (Breese) Johnston, two sons, Michael of Viera, FL, and David of Nesbit, MS; and two grandsons, Eric of Jacksonville, FL and Colin of Nesbit, MS.
Memorial service is on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 3 p.m. at Brownlie – Maxwell Funeral Home in Melbourne followed by a reception at Matt’s Casbah.

We met Bob and Helen 1967 when we worked together at Radiation. We got along well and were friends since then. He was a quite person but alway ready with a joke to brighten our day. Our family will miss him. Rest In peace Bob.
