His family includes his wife Mary Woodling; daughters Deborah Kennedy and Lori Petree; eight grandchildren; brothers Stephen Woodling and Victor Woodling; sisters Charlotte Moore, Susan Cox and Frances Montfort.
He was preceded in death by his son Russell J. Woodling, Jr. and three brothers.
Russell worked as an engineering specialist in electronics for many years at Harris Corporation. He served honorably in the United States Army.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 5pm until 7pm at Brownlie Maxwell Funeral Home, 1010 E. Palmetto Avenue, Melbourne. His Funeral Mass will be Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 2 pm at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1710 Hickory Street, Melbourne, Florida.
