Hughie (Eugene) Miller, Jr. passed on November 26, 2023 in Palm Bay, Florida, He was born on March 26, 1956 in Newport, Kentucky too Hughie E. and Oneida Stephens Miller, Sr.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years Esther (Mary) Miller; daughter Jennifer Ridenour; grandsons Patrick and Jerry Ridenour; granddaughters Ariel Ridenour and Ashlee McFarland; great granddaughters Chloe and Marcella McFarland, Ophelia Burnside Ridenour; sister Barbara Ann Herndon; nieces Barbie Meyers and Kim Dean as well as many nieces and nephews of Fellsmere, Florida; sisters-in-law Dreama Washington and Annie Klemann and her husband Tim.

He was preceded in death by his parents Hughie Eugene, Sr. and Oneida Miller; brother Marion Monrow Miller; sister Patricia Kay Miller Brock.

Hughie served in the Vietnam War era in the United States Navy on the aircraft carrier Franklin D. Roosevelt. He loved to dance – especially disco.

I miss his sense of humor and laughter.

A memorial service with US Navy honors for Hughie is being planned.
