Patricia Lee McCarthy, age 91
Patricia “Pat” McCarthy went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 8, 2026. Patricia, a devout Christian, mother, and soul winner for Christ lived a life of dedicated service to God as a personal caregiver to so many people over the years. She gave sacrificially to advance the kingdom of God by investing in and sharing “the word”. She also encouraged others to do the same. Oh, and how talented she was… A professional seamstress, tailor, and dress designer that owned her own successful business.
Oftentimes, she would donate her talent to local churches, and for those in need. She was a true blessing to those who knew her. Heaven has received a beautiful soul, and of course, she will be missed, but certainly not forgotten. “She was a firecracker” as often described by close friends and neighbors. They all loved her dearly. And know this! She loved you right back.
Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Bob McCarthy and her first-born Brenda Somerville. She is survived by her two daughters “Melene and Bill Gibbons” “Debra Dunn” and her only son “Lenard and Orrene Somerville”. Patricia leaves behind several grandchildren, and great grandchildren who will no doubt carry on her legacy of love.
She requested that no memorial services be held. The family sends this message: Mama, we love you deeply and look forward to reuniting with you in paradise. We encourage all those who read this to meditate on these scriptures. May God Bless you all.
