At just two years old, Zenaida moved with her family to Chicago, Illinois, where she was raised and attended school. After graduating from high school, she pursued her studies at community college and became a dialysis technician, dedicating herself to caring for others through her work.

Zenaida was a vibrant soul who loved to dance and truly lived life to the fullest. She found great joy in traveling and cruising, embracing every opportunity to explore, celebrate, and create lasting memories. Her warmth, laughter, and lively spirit touched all who knew her.

She is lovingly remembered by her children Edwin Cortez (wife Adriana) and Hector Rodriguez (wife Amy), and her cherished grandchildren, Blake, Marc, Joshua, and Mackenzie. Zenaida will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her strength, her love of life, and the joy she brought to her family and friends.
