Colette Diania Harp of Melbourne, FL went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the age of 47. She was born in Richmond, VA on January 19, 1979 to Clyde Nathan Oliver & Belinda Diania Oliver (Vincent). Shortly after, Colette and her family moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and then prior to starting 6th grade, Colette and her family moved to the Space Coast.
Locally, Colette attended Sherwood Elementary School, Johnson Middle School & graduated from Eau Gallie High School in 1997. Following high school, Colette became a mother to her two daughters, Tenisha & Tiónna. She worked in insurance for a time, and then transitioned to becoming the pastoral assistant for her father, Clyde Oliver’s, church (Maranatha Christian Center) for several years. In addition to being a pastoral assistant, she served at MCC as the worship leader from the early 2000s until her passing. Colette eventually returned to the insurance industry with a 10+ year career at Health First Health Plans.
Throughout the years, Colette became well-known across Brevard County for her voice. She was invited to both minister and sing at many churches & local outreaches. Through these opportunities, she developed a reputation as a powerful worship leader and preacher of the Word of God. She was grateful to revisit her choir days when she had the opportunity to participate in a vocal ensemble for her employer, Health First Health Plans, in 2020. Colette was an ordained minister of the Gospel and was aligned with Network Ekklesia International. She traveled to and ministered in several nations around the world. She hosted a weekly podcast for women called The Radiant Woman.
Colette received formal music training during her time at Brevard Community College. She eventually went on to earn a Bachelor’s in Theology at Life Christian University’s Palm Bay Extension Campus. She went on to become a teacher at LCU after completing her degree. In 2023, Colette married the love of her life, Monty Harp, at Kingdom Gate Worship Center in Satellite Beach, Florida.
Colette accepted and received the salvation of Jesus Christ at a young age and walked with the Lord as a faithful servant for over 40 years. She served in ministry from her time in youth group until her passing.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Monty Harp, her children, Tenisha Picinich & Tiónna Picinich, her mother, Belinda Diania Oliver, her step-mother Marion Oliver, and her siblings, Douglas Oliver and Dominique Vincent, and a host of cousins, aunts, & uncles. She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Nathan Oliver.
Colette Harp’s homegoing service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Freedom Christian Center located at 7250 Lake Andrew Drive, Melbourne, Florida. Viewing hours will be 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM, with the service itself beginning at 12:30 PM. Interment to follow at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge, Florida.
