Randy loved the outdoors and felt most at home surrounded by nature. He enjoyed hunting deer, wild hogs, and alligators, and he cherished spending time in the woods. He was happiest outdoors, often going barefoot and enjoying the simple freedom of being close to nature.
The woods were a special place for Randy, where he could be himself and enjoy the things he loved most.
Randy is survived by his loving son, Allen John Ellis; his daughter, Sharon Shaffer Ellis; his grandchildren, Randy Fox, JT Fox, Lila May, and Delanie Suttell; his sister, Elizabeth Brooks, of Plant City, Florida; his brother, Allen Ellis, of Vandiver, Alabama; and his brother, Ronnie Ellis (Carla), of El Paso, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Algie and Julia Ellis; his wife, Lisa; and his daughters, Krystal Suttell and Brandy Ellis.
Though Randy has left this world, his memory will live on through his family, the stories they share, and the memories of the life he lived. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his independent spirit, and the time he spent doing what made him happiest.
Rest peacefully, Randy. May you forever roam the woods you loved, barefoot and free. You will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives you touched.”
