Bryan L. Monfette
Bryan L. Monfette, age 60, dedicated father, papa, uncle, brother, friend, and husband, entered eternal rest on January 10, 2021.
Bryan was born in East Craftsbury Vermont on May 4, 1960. He lived much of his life in MA where he enjoyed time with his brothers, mother, and two children before moving to FL to be with his father, sisters, wife, and their families.
Bryan especially enjoyed cars and motorcycles both driving and fixing them. He was proud to serve as Commander for the Sons of the American Legion. He had a fondness for wolves and a love for cooking. He was a great friend and someone you could always count on for a laugh or a shoulder to cry on. Bryan was loyal, kind, hard-working, strong, funny, and could create amazing things from wood and tile. He also loved a good drink and a cigarette and sharing time with his siblings.
Most of all, Bryan was a proud father and grandfather. He wasn’t the “perfect” dad, he said inappropriate things, taught us to swim by tossing us in the pool, let us stay up late to hang with his friends by the fire while they drank and listened to music, and took us to the bar too often to play pool. He shined as a grandfather and when he was able to spend time with his grandchildren, he was always trying to teach them something or tell them a story that he hoped they would carry with them through life.
He leaves behind his wife Debby Boozer Monfette, his brothers Bruce and Greg Monfette, sister Brenda Dunham and husband Steve, sister Bonnie Long and husband Harold, sister Gayle Bellville and husband Mike. His children Alysha Monfette and partner Freddie Bragan, Nicholas Monfette, Traci Kennedy and husband Brendon, Keith Baxley and wife Kelly, his grandchildren Lilliana, Lucas, Josh, Shannon, Sammy, Keith Jr. and Jeremy, great-grandchildren Owen and Kaia, his mother Grace Monfette, his nieces and nephews Brad, Harold, Nicole, Hailey, Jacob, and Gregory and many close friends and extended family members. Bryan was met at the gates of heaven by his father Bernard and brother Bradley.
