Elizabeth Anne (Clasby) Shea, 78 of Palm Bay, Florida died on Friday July, 23 2021 at the William Childs Hospice House, Palm Bay, Florida.

Liz was born to George William and Lillie May (Pero) Clasby on February 4, 1943 in Waltham, MA. She married Edward Shea, also of Waltham, on August 21, 1965. They lived in Hudson, NH with their three children Edward Jr, William, and Christine until moving to Palm Bay, FL in 1976. There, after raising her family, she completed her Associates Degree from Brevard Community College, a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Rollins College, her Masters Degree in Social Work from Florida State University, passed the Licensed Clinical Social Worker Exam for the State of Florida, and became a Professional Guardian. She applied her Social Work skills across many areas culminating in her own company providing Guardianship Services to the elderly for many years.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, collecting Angels, and being active with her sisters of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for over 50 years. Liz loved to cruise. She and Ed cruised the world extensively including the Caribbean, the east and west coasts of the US and Canada, Alaska, the Baltic, the Mediterranean, the South Pacific, and 1,000 miles up the Amazon river.

She is survived by her husband Ed., Daughter Christine, Son William, grandchildren Patrick, Noah, Robert, Ethan and Destiny great-grandsons Bo, Hunter, Teddy and Fur grandbaby Stella and her Sister Helen Brothers David, Eugene, Frank, and Ken. She was predeceased by her son Teddy, sister Miriam and Brother George.

A celebration of life will be held at Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home, Melbourne, FL on Tuesday July 27th from 5-7pm.

Burial will occur at a future date in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham, MA.

In lieu of flowers please plant something that reminds you of Liz and that you can enjoy in the years to come.
