Sandy Tompkins, 75, passed away August 20, 2021 peacefully at home with her family by her side.
She was preceded in death by her son Shane Dryden, father Dan Thornton, mother Mickey Thornton and brother Lon Thornton.
She worked many years at Harris Corporation until her retirement.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years Mike; her son Robbie Dryden (Laurie) of Buckeye, AZ; her stepson David Tompkins (Jill) of Flowery Branch GA; stepdaughter Rachelle Campbell (Vick); of Vero Beach, FL; Sisters: Linda Edwards of Melbourne , Dianne Andersen (Ron) of Springfield, MO, JoAnn Andersen of Sioux City, IA; Patti Murphy (Mike) of Moville, IA; Brothers Dan Thornton (Bonnie) of Sioux City, IA; Ron Thornton of Hornick, IA.; 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Sandy loved being around family and friends, singing and dancing to country music.
A Celebration of Life will be held at their home on September 11, 2021 from 1pm to 5pm with lunch being served.
