Angel in the clouds on blue sky
Departed on January 22, 2022 in Melbourne, Florida
Audrey Louise Robertson, born on December 26, 1927 (age 95), received her angel wings and went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2022. She passed from this life peacefully in her sleep.
Born in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of Joseph and Reta Wolfes, who preceded her in death, along with her sister, Reta Wolfes. Her husband Berkley Robertson also preceded her in death along with her beloved pet dog Bella and their pet dog Riley, whom she loved dearly.
She graduated in 1944 from Anacostia High School and married the love of her life Berkley Robertson. She went on to pursue her career as a court clerk stenographer with the Prince George’s County Maryland Circuit Court under the supervision of many different Judges but ended her career under Judge Vincent J. Famia.
She was always known to dress to the nines regardless of the occasion perfecting her hair, wardrobe, make-up, and nails. She started each day with a sip of tomato juice and a phone call from a dear friend.
She was blessed with three sons in order by age, Bill (Linda), Berkley (Cathy) and David (Cheryl). She and her husband Berk (fondly known to all as Pop) raised their sons in Forestville on Pinevale Avenue building lifelong relationships along the way. They built dear relationships with The Moore’s, The Vance’s, The Cornwell’s, and the Loretta’s. Her blessings continued with 14 grandchildren in order of her sons: Logan Robertson, Billy Davis, Danny Davis, Tiffany Arthur, Kim Watson, Berk Robertson, Catherine Robertson, Josh Mannion, Ben Mannion, EJ Robertson, Amber Lynn Robertson, Zach Shelley, Ryan Shelley, Amber Christine Rothman.
She and her husband moved to Ruckersville, VA where they enjoyed the country life for many years.
Even more blessings continued with 26 great grandchildren: Megan, Grace, Ella, William, Charles, Jack, Brittany Arthur, Taylor Arthur, Taylor Watson, Casey Watson, Jamie Robertson, Garret Robertson, Mason Mannion, Scarlet Mannion, Amelia Mannion, Lilliana Irby, Alexis Irby, Ali Irby, Ellie Rothman, Isaac Rothman, Chloe Rothman, Noah Shelley, Caleb Shelley, Merrick Shelley, Ezra Shelley, and Jude Shelley.
Mom and Pop decided to relocate to Melbourne, Florida to enjoy the warmer weather. There she enjoyed the shenanigans of her Red Hat Club along with many new friends. As devout Christians, they have always been devoted to their church and church families.
She also had 4 great-great grandchildren: Lilian Arthur, Layla Arthur, Matthew Arthur and Melody Arthur.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
