David. I regret that I never got to meet you and that I now am learning about your death. If I ever met you it was before you moved from WV with your parents. I am the oldest {84) living son of your uncle Lonnie Cook. Condolences to your family.

Dave was one of my best friends while in the service , Navy,Norfolk Va. He always had a good sense of humor. We had many good times and stayed in touch over the years. Dave and I shared a lot of the same views. He lived in Florida, me in New Hampshire and never was able to get together. I still feel that we were friends forever. My deepest condolences to Dave's family and know he will be deeply missed. Rest in peace my friend, Mark Silegy.

Sorry to have lost Uncle Dave. He always cracked me up with how serious he thought he had to be. I took a lot of it as a joke but, I always knew it meant something. God bless Aunt Beck, Vickie and those grandkids. Slot cars in heaven for Uncle Dave!

I am so sorry for the loss of your dad Vickie. I always remember your dad sitting in that recliner or hanging out in his workshop in the garage working on something. I know you will miss him terribly but just cherish all those memories and all the time you did get with him. Sending many hugs to you and your mom ❤️

We miss you so much! I’ll make sure that Mom is okay, but she would rather you be here. You left us too soon, but I know you’re resting easier now. Give Sis a hug for me. Love you.

Your long suffering here has ended. I know that you are deeply missed by family and friends! Speaking of family , Becky is a lovely and wonderful woman. We have come to love Vicki as another daughter and sister to our Tara. She is a pretty terrific young lady. We pray that God grant you rest and that He provides solace and consolation to all who mourn you.

I cannot convey how sad I am for the loss of someone so near and dear to my heart! He was my “second father” for 36 years and I’m sad that he’s no longer with us. I pray for everyone’s healing in knowing that he is in a better place, a much better place, and did not suffer. But I pray for the rest of us that he left behind, for the family that he so loved. God bless.
