Deborah Nowell Miller (Drew), 72, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023, at William Childs Hospice House of Palm Bay. She was born on June 8, 1950, to John Herbert Drew and Beauton Mary Thompson in Dallas, Texas. A longtime resident of Brevard County Florida, she graduated Melbourne High School in 1968. She was an amazing mother who put herself through Nursing school at Brevard Community College while raising her two children. She worked selflessly to help others as a Nurse for over 20 years at Holmes Regional Medical Center. She was always there to help her family in times of need. She loved to read, travel, and play golf. In her later years, she enjoyed playing games on her tablet.
Deborah is survived by her 2 children, son, John Selph (Cynthia) and daughter, Jennifer Hanner all of Lancaster, SC; her 5 grandchildren, Amanda Selph of Dunnellon, Florida, Hailey Williams of Memphis, TN, Alyssa Black of Knoxville, TN, Caitlin Carter of Tampa, FL, and Nicholas Selph of Columbia, SC; her nephew David Beaver (Amy) of Gainesville, FL; and her longtime partner Jeff Pollock of Palm Bay, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Pamela Drew.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 10AM at Brownlie and Maxwell Funeral Home. There will be a reception at Hampton Inn, Palm Bay at 1 PM with light oeuvres and drinks.
