Departed July 3, 2023 in Palm Bay, Florida

The most thoughtful, gentle, and loving husband, father, and grandfather went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, July 3, 2023. Barry Lentz, 86, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Palm Bay, Florida, his wife and daughter by his side.

Barry was born in Dallastown, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Stanley Lentz and Romaine P. Zeigler Lentz. He was a 1954 graduate of Red Lion High School, where he was active in the FFA. After graduation he continued working on the family farm in Felton, Pennsylvania and also worked as a school bus and charter bus driver. He did that until moving to Palm Bay, Florida in 1992, where he worked for Kinco Window Company until he retired in 2004. But his first love was farming.

Barry is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Darlene Sechrist Lentz of Palm Bay, Florida and three children, daughter Noel Lentz of Palm Bay, Florida, son Kevin Lentz and his wife, Christine, of Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania, and son Michael Lentz and wife, Jennifer, of Grafton, Massachusetts. He also had 4 loving grandchildren Sara, Emily, Elizabeth, and Nicholas.
