Charlotte Lesser (99) of Melbourne passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 20, 2022 in Melbourne, Florida. Born in Scranton, PA to the late Harry and Rose Wachter, Charlotte moved to Florida in 1969.

She was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed a variety of careers. Charlotte was a Registered Nurse and spent her early and late careers in nursing. While she was raising her children, she held a real estate license and made friends with every sale. She went back to school to receive her Bachelor’s Degree from Rollins College at age 55 and later passed her Series 7 Securities exam.

She played tennis and golf for many years. She loved to travel and was lucky enough to see much of the US and several other countries. She was a talented artist and left behind beautiful paintings, stained glass, beaded jewelry and decorated planters. Charlotte loved life and never stopped trying to learn new things, taking Spanish and Mandolin lessons into her 90s. Her great loves were bridge and gambling which she continued throughout her entire life. She always looked forward to family poker games at the holidays and will be greatly missed at those occasions.

She is survived by her children Ilene (Bob Socks) Davis, Michael (Kim) Lesser and Hope (Brian) Fisher; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was always there when we were growing up. She got me started investing in an early age that led to my current career and she definitely was an accomplished an interesting person and was a fabulous hostess.
