Husband, Father, Brother, Son, and Friend, Danny Davis, died on September 14th at Holmes Regional Medical Center surrounded by his wife (Cindy), daughter (Kristy), son (Josh), and his daughters boyfriend (David). As a Florida resident since 2013, Danny was born on January 10th, 1964 in Hartford City, Indiana. Danny was an example and great leader for many. “There truly isn’t another person in this world that has been the “walk to walk” with his life with Christ.” He was known as a rock for many people and had a solution to any problem that people faced and consulted him on.
Danny married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life 38 years ago, Cindy. He was survived by her, three daughters (Kristy, Kayleigh, and Macie), a son (Joshua), his mother (Wanda Dickey), brother (David), and sister (Deloris). Along with countless friends, co-workers, extended family, and people he’s touched throughout his life.
He will be remembered for his teasing jokes, his confidence, his powerful testimony, his unfailing work ethic, his generous smile, and his willingness to go above and beyond for any person in need. One could only hope to be as fortunate to have a father, brother, husband, son, or friend like Danny at some point in life. He always had the ability to comfort those around him with positivity and grace. He will be loved and missed forever after his tragic death, battling Covid for 8 weeks in the ICU.
Danny’s life will be celebrated, remembered, and cherished forever. Friends and family are invited to his memorial that’s being handled by Brownlie and Maxwell in Melbourne, Florida on September 18th between 3pm-5pm. Given the current environmental circumstances, the family of Danny would like people to know that while attendance is appreciated, they understand and want everyone to continue his amazing legacy in lieu of their absence.

Danny was one of a kind. Always willing to share his expertise and opinion. We shared many laughs and struggles at AEP and at GE. He will be greatly missed by the industry as well as all his co-workers and friends.

It's been on honor to work with Danny for the last several years. He was a hard working colleague and a generous mentor. OSI was my first job out of college and I learned so much from Danny. He had a teachers heart and was always open to sharing his experiences. He often talked about his family on our work trips, and you could hear how much he genuinely loved you all. My deepest sympathies for his family and friends, he will be greatly missed.
I am deeply saddened to hear of Danny's passing. We know that Danny is present in the arms of His Heavenly Father and that is our consolation. My prayers for his wife Cindy and family is that they will experience God's comforting presence as they go through this difficult time.

I had the privilege and pleasure of working and collaborating with Danny during his tenure at OSI, and his contributions were impactful, positive, and will be sorely missed by me and all those with whom Danny worked. Danny was very much a guiding light for me in the few years I knew him and I will miss him terribly. We spent a lot of time together in Brazil a number of years ago, which was a very challenging time for both of us, but Danny was an excellent companion throughout and I learned a lot about our industry because of him. His vision of what the "control room of the future" should look like, stays with me even today. Thank you Danny - it was a privilege to know and work with you and you have shaped my thinking of the world having known you. You'll be sorely missed.
I had the privilege of working with Danny in the past few years. He was hard working, ethical, and above all a loving family man and a great friend. We talked on a weekly basis and I felt the love he had for his family. I will miss him dearly but what I learned from him would stay with me forever!
I was blessed to call Danny a friend. He had a great ability to listen and humbly shared the wisdom God had given him, often with a smile or a laugh. He is already missed, but his legacy lives on!
Worked with Danny at AEP for several years. Truly a great person, friend , co-worker and most importantly a man of God. Very sorry to hear the news. He will be missed on earth but he is present with the Lord.
