Husband, Father, Brother, Son, and Friend, Danny Davis, died on September 14th at Holmes Regional Medical Center surrounded by his wife (Cindy), daughter (Kristy), son (Josh), and his daughters boyfriend (David). As a Florida resident since 2013, Danny was born on January 10th, 1964 in Hartford City, Indiana. Danny was an example and great leader for many. “There truly isn’t another person in this world that has been the “walk to walk” with his life with Christ.” He was known as a rock for many people and had a solution to any problem that people faced and consulted him on.
Danny married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life 38 years ago, Cindy. He was survived by her, three daughters (Kristy, Kayleigh, and Macie), a son (Joshua), his mother (Wanda Dickey), brother (David), and sister (Deloris). Along with countless friends, co-workers, extended family, and people he’s touched throughout his life.
He will be remembered for his teasing jokes, his confidence, his powerful testimony, his unfailing work ethic, his generous smile, and his willingness to go above and beyond for any person in need. One could only hope to be as fortunate to have a father, brother, husband, son, or friend like Danny at some point in life. He always had the ability to comfort those around him with positivity and grace. He will be loved and missed forever after his tragic death, battling Covid for 8 weeks in the ICU.
Danny’s life will be celebrated, remembered, and cherished forever. Friends and family are invited to his memorial that’s being handled by Brownlie and Maxwell in Melbourne, Florida on September 18th between 3pm-5pm. Given the current environmental circumstances, the family of Danny would like people to know that while attendance is appreciated, they understand and want everyone to continue his amazing legacy in lieu of their absence.

I worked with Danny at GE...sat across from him and it was a great pleasure. He worked hard, always listened and was just a great person. His love for his family shined through every day. I am so very sorry to hear about his passing. He will be missed.

Danny, you made such a positive impact on my life as a teen when you were one of the youth leaders at the Nazarene Church. You and Cindy both invested in my life in ways that will last for eternity. This world needs more people like you in it. Your smile is something I will always, always remember. Heaven gained an angel.
Danny is an amazing man! I say "is" because he's more alive now than he's ever been, and we will get to see him again! The biggest thing I will miss is his smile. He always had a smile and a kind word. I will picture him in his usual seat with his eyes closed worshipping. Danny loves the Lord and loves his family! His spirit always brought such joy to our church, and he gave great hugs. He is already missed, and there is a void at our church. We love you all, Cindy, Josh, Kristy, Kayleigh, and Macie. We will walk with you through this journey and help carry your load in any way we can!

Danny will be so greatly missed. He was a wonderful husband father and friend. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants. Truly I (Danny) am your servant, Lord; I serve you…. We all need to strive to be closer and more like Jesus .

Danny's enormously generous heart was an inspiration. His smile graced our church each Sunday, and will be missed, greatly. Our hearts are hurting, even as we look forward to seeing him again. May the comfort of our Lord be with all who loved him.
