David Alan Clark, 74 of Palm Bay, Florida passed away on November 6, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Nancy; son Matthew, daughter Cindy Rice, and sister Janice Clark. He has three grandchildren: Dakota, Jason, and Logan. David was a retired US Army veteran and professor at Eastern Florida State College. He was a member of the Brevard Scribblers for many years. No funeral services will be held.

Dave (I want to call you Gerb, so I will). To say I will miss you is a monumental understatement. You and Nancy have been part of My and Maria's life.
Guitars, singing, and long discussions about esoteric subjects and a human connection that represented a place where I could come to and share our mutual awe at the Cosmos and all of its manifestations. You are still with me and always will be. Norm (Snarkle) Davis
Nancy, So sorry you lost the love of your life and we lost a best friend. We will miss the very interesting conversations and our common love to travel.
My sincere condolences to all of Dave's family, loved ones & friends. He was, and will continue to be, a positive influence in my life. Once he said to me... "I never met a rock I didn't like". Since that day, I am always reminded of him, his wit, his humor, his wisdom... in every rock surrounding me.
Nancy, our deepest sympathies to you and your family. We cherished the wonderful times we shared, and David's absence leaves a void in our Clarks club. From meetups to dinners and crazy 8s, those moments are indelibly etched in our memories. David was truly special, and we find it difficult to accept that he's no longer with us. So sad. David was witty and unique, observant and full of life. He had many diverse talents and a great sense of humor. I looked forward to seeing him at Scribblers each time I went and was disappointed if he didn't attend. I'm glad he and Nancy had a lot of fantastic vacations.
I met David several years ago, when i joined Scribblers, he was a kind, super smart person, i loved reading his books, he had a very cool long walking stick! sending my condolences to all family members, to his bride Nancy i would say, you two were the perfect couple i really admired that, I am sorry for your loss God Bless.
